At Yoga Mudra we practice Classical Hatha Yoga, Kripalu Yoga and Pranakriya Yoga. In our live online yoga classes, students are given detailed instructions so yoga postures are learned correctly and safely. Personal attention is given to new students to encourage their confidence in learning postures, pranayama breathing, and relaxation techniques. Those new to yoga are not left feeling they have to grasp these concepts on their own. Special care is also given for individual body types and conditions. Posture modifications and options are demonstrated and encouraged so both the beginner and advanced yoga student can experience a rewarding and challenging yoga practice.
Why practice yoga? Some common reasons for yoga's popularity are flexibility, strength, and relaxation. But Yoga is more than just a physical exercise. Performing a yoga asana with correct posture and focus brings lightness and exhilaration to the body. It instills a feeling of oneness in body, mind and spirit. Yoga cultivates awareness and opens communications between the body and mind. This powerful link promotes physical and mental well being.
